You might remember Dan and Kayla from their engagement session last year. To this day, it is hard for them to pinpoint the moment their relationship started because it grew from an amazing friendship. They say their first dates consisted of them going to eat and then driving around and talking for hours. Does it get any more wholesome than that!?
Because they met at the Y, Dan and Kayla requested they play YMCA during their reception at Wannamoisett Country Club; it was a super cute tribute to their origin story! Everyone had a great time, too, which was important to Dan and Kayla from the beginning; they told us they wanted their wedding to be “simple and people focused” without all the distracting bells and whistles to keep them from their friends and family. Sounds like Dan and Kayla already know what’s most important in life!
Afterwards, Kayla admitted her favorite part of the entire wedding was dancing the day away with Dan, their families, and their friends. Curious about Dan’s favorite part of the wedding? It was watching Kayla walk down the aisle – how sweet! They both agree with the cliché saying “the day goes by so fast” because it is SO true. As we looked through their images, they realized chunks of the day passed by in a blur, and if not for the photos, they might not remember those moments as well - and when it’s the best day of your lives, every moment counts!

A: Nicole came in clutch helping Kayla bustle her dress at the reception!

A: Find somebody that can work with your personality. We loved working with Nicole and Paul because of their ability to help put us at ease and have fun.
