Mini session photography dates for 2024
As a mini session photographer, we are delighted to create new custom sets with plenty of variety each year to perfectly capture your beautiful family. With a combination of indoor and outdoor mini sessions across the calendar year, and holiday sessions that invoke Christmas and ones that decidedly don’t, we hope you find the perfect mini session photography for your needs!
Our Mother’s Day mini sessions are the perfect gift for the woman in your life who wishes her children would stop growing. Joking aside, those precious faces change so quickly. Capturing their round faces and precious smiles will bring tears to her eyes on Mother’s Day. Times open in late March for these sessions, which are shot in my Warwick, RI studio, in early April.
For a classic Rhode Island photo, our summertime mini beach portraits are the best option we could dream up. Shot on location at one of Rhode Island’s most beautiful beaches, we’ll bring out the playfulness of your children--and maybe the teens and adults, too! Times open up in June for sessions in July.
Fall mini photo session are especially popular! Shot in a family friend’s Rhode Island apple orchard or at the Mount Hope Farmers Market, our fall minis are pet-friendly, cost-effective, and feature colorful sets, including a miniature hot cocoa bar. Plus, before and after you can enjoy the fresh produce, local cheeses, and delicious bakery items at the farmers market. Times open in August for past clients and those on my VIP email list, early September for shoots in early October.
Our holiday minis are super special because we have a real Santa (who is a much classier version than any Santa you’ll find in a mall) as well as a timeless non-holiday set so your images boast year round appeal. Times open in late September / October for shoots in mid November.

Our mini sessions tend to book out within a week or two, so mark your calendars for when we will be releasing our schedule. Or, better yet, become a VIP by joining our email list. What is truly amazing about our mini session photography dates is how many fantastic shots you’ll get out of our time together. As a veteran photographer with more than 20 years experience capturing timeless photos, you can expect to come away with several shots in a variety of poses, including gorgeous images of your entire family and ones of just the children. We know how to move you through the session so you won’t feel rushed.
As a full service studio, we like to give our clients tangible products. Digital photos are a nice idea, but they often sit on your hard drive or get posted to social media, then fade into the ether.
We recommend creating a long-lasting professional quality printed image, card or wall art so you can truly enjoy the photos and kindle the love for your family every time you are taken back to that moment in time. For our clients who want digital files, they can add a package of any 5 or any 10 images, which are perfect for those who plan to print on their own.
As a bonus, our holiday minis include 25 holiday cards, plus a desktop frame or photo ornament. Additional print products from your mini session as well as digitals can be added to any package.
