Loving this winter Providence themed engagement session with Sally and Ray. Two wedding professional’s recommended us to this fabulous couple – many thanks to Lesli-Ann from Little Birdie Papercraft and Kaitlyn Frolich from Sarah Daly Events. Planning their wedding for September 2015 at the Biltmore in Providence, we planned their session in time for them to have their save the date cards designed. Sally and Ray selected local spots in Pawtuxet Village (where they live) and spots throughout Providence that were important to them. We checked out the Biltmore (which is their wedding venue), Local 121 (where they are having their rehearsal dinner) and Providence Oyster Bar on the Hill (where they had their first date).
Here is a quick Q & A we had with Sally and Ray to get to know them better:
Q: How did the two of you meet?
A: We met on eHarmony – the modern way!
Q: How did Ray propose?
A: On a Wednesday night right when I walked in the door from work, with champagne and photos of my family around us. He wanted to do it when I least expected it and he succeeded – I was very surprised!
Q: Where was your first date?
A: The Providence Oyster Bar
Q: What made your engagement session unique?
A: Our photos were of the village where we live, and at our wedding venue and our rehearsal dinner venue, which are all favorite spots of ours.
Q: Was the engagement session what you expected?
A: I didn’t really have any expectations, but it was a lot of fun!
Q: What did you learn about working with us that will be helpful on your wedding day?
A: It is great to have two photographers instead of one.
Q: Any advice for couples planning their wedding?
A: Hire the right vendors, and things will fall into place.
