I cannot stress enough to my clients, that transportation to and from their event is extremely important and should not be one of the last things they reserve for their wedding. Yes, while the wedding cannot technically start without them, at the same time they don’t want to put their wedding timeline an hour behind because their transportation didn’t consider the travel time in Newport to and from on a busy weekend.

ROCKSTAR LIMO is one of our preferred vendors that we recommend to our wedding clients if they are in need of transportation. They are professional, knowledgable and are ALWAYS on time and early for that matter.

Here’s what they had to say in our interview:

Q: How did ROCKSTAR LIMO come about?
A: ROCKSTAR started on December 24, 2004 with our infamous ROCKSTAR bus. Our bus was previously owned by Aretha Franklin herself! { <— How cool is that?!} From there we started wrapping other company’s buses and vans. What better way to promote your business than an advertisement on wheels! We even toured the country with the staff of popular TV shows like So You Think You Can Dance? and Coyote Ugly. We wrapped our own bus in our logo which helped book us for night out trips, golf outings and weekend get-a-ways. From there, things just kind of took off!

We started to assemble a fleet of vehicles including limos, stretch SUVs, mini coaches, limo buses and the ever popular trolley for all types of leisure events! Today ROCKSTAR LIMO has over 40 vehicles in use!

Q: What types of events do you service and where do you travel?
A: ROCKSTAR LIMO is very popular with weddings. We strive for the best service on one of the most special days of a couple’s life! We can coordinate “get-a-way” cars for after the wedding ceremony and reception, along with airport car service to and from their honeymoon! We can also provide ROCKSTAR service for the night out events such as bachelor and bachelorette parties.

ROCKSTAR LIMO services all of Rhode Island, the Boston Area and eastern Connecticut. Our corporate brand is All Occasion Transportation and services over 600 cities worldwide.

Q: Who is your client?
A: Our clients are those that are looking for more than just a vehicle for their event or special occasion. We want to make it more than transportation. We want to create an experience for them. We cater to our customer in such a way that it keeps them coming back for me. We LOVE our repeat customers!

Q: Any 2014 transportation trends we should expect to see?
A: Trolley’s. They aren’t going anywhere! They have been around for awhile and are here to stay as a “trend”. They have a classic look and have the capacity to hold upwards of 30 people! If we are going to be super specific, the WHITE trolley is hot right now. We just acquired one for our fleet and it is almost booked up for the whole summer season already! The reason people like trolley’s so much is that it fits with just about any style and its functional.

Q: What makes ROCKSTAR different from other transportation companies?
A: We give our clients the opportunity to be a ROCKSTAR for a day. Our number one priority is customer service and experience. We dare our clients to find the same quality and service with another company. When we put the challenge out to them, we provide the information that they should be asking with other transportation companies. We want to make sure that they are comparing apples to apples and not apples to kiwis! At ROCKSTAR LIMO, we guide our clients through their event coordination process so that they have piece of mind on their special day.
